A Very Arnold Christmas!

It's Christmas time in the Capitol City! It's hard to go anywhere around town without getting a healthy dose of holiday cheer, especially if you frequent the Capitol building, which held its tree lighting ceremony last week!

But we do things differently in Sacramento than you may in your ho-hum town. In addition to the always whimsical presence of governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the lovely first lady Maria Shriver, and musical performances by Rick Springfield and some god-awful boy band (people still listen to this crap?!), the event was hosted TV heartthrob Mario Lopez!!

Yeah, that's how Christmas is done in the greatest state in the union.

But wait! The holidays aren't only about Christmas! Today, Arnold returned to the West steps of the Capitol for the traditional Lighting of the Menorah.

Sure, it may not have been quite as big of an event, but it did offer Arnold dancing with a bunch of Rabbis, and that is certainly something that the Christmas celebration did not offer. Take that, Lopez!

In case you weren't able to attend, make sure you catch a quick glimpse of Arnold in action. It was one of those special holiday moments that comes but once a year!

I haven't seen Arnold having that much holiday fun since Jingle All the Way!

Immediately following the festive dance, Arnold returned through the doors of the Capitol, marched down the hall, and vetoed an $18 billion package that attempted to solve the budget crisis in California. I guess it would have looked worse if he danced after doing that.
